Congratulations to Ron Moss – Recipient of the 2020-21 AAFS Warren-Young Scholarship

In August 2020, the American Academy of Forensic Sciences announced that Ron Moss had been awarded the 2020-21 AAFS Warren-Young Scholarship to encourage forensic science education at the middle and high school levels.  Ron has been a member of COFSE since 2016 and currently serves as chair of the K-12 Committee.


COFSE Workshop from Anaheim now available on AAFS Connect

AAFS Connect is the new AAFS video platform that provides access to workshops that can be viewed on-demand. Any or all of the six recorded workshops from the 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting, including “High-Impact Practices in Forensic Science Education”, can be viewed for a fee payable to AAFS (academic pricing available). Members of COFSE have free access to the slides from this workshop under the Member Resources tab.

Join LEAP – the Laboratories and Educators Alliance Program

Apply for the 2021 Student DDE Travel Award

Delete Delta Epsilon, the international forensic science honor society, is now accepting applications for up to four $250 travel scholarships for DDE students presenting at AAFS in Houston during February 2021.  Details can be found on the DDE page.
